CRISIS SUPPORT + OUTREACH 

We are here in community holding space!​​

Our support workers are available 7 days a week for in-person or phone crisis support appointments.

The Oceanside Outreach team can be seen wearing orange lanyards and visiting all active locations, community centres and soup kitchens in Nanoose, Parksville, Qualicum, Errington, Dashwood, Bowser and Whiskey Creek - 7 days a week.

Drop-in appointments welcome at 345 Pym St. or 975 Shearme Rd.

Oceanside team is currently funded by PGNAETA BC RURAL HOMELESSNESS PARTNERING STRATEGY from 2023--April 2025

• Warm Transfer Services, Assistance navigating Community Resources or accessing shelter spaces 

• Survival gear available  for those currently pre-housed ( tents, tarps etc) 

• Advocacy for secure housing and crisis housing stipens for those who qualify 

• Advocacy and support for Harm reduction Initiatives 

• Support for Self-Identified Women and all SOGI including 2SLGBTQIA

• Support for Sex Trade Workers

• Assistance with Education, Employment, Health, Housing, Legal and Income support

• Community and Cultural Connection

• Safe Space access
